Chicago native, Hona Costello, is back with a new West Coast jam/smoking anthem that has been featured on the likes of SmokingSection, YouHeardThatNew, DJBooth, Earmilk, and more called "High". High has been regarded as one of the freshest smoking anthems of the past few years on Smoking Section and has a video in the works directed by "Playne Jane" to be released this summer.
Hona Costello was raised in Chicago Heights, IL - home to legends such as Kanye West, Michael Jordan, Common, and more. During his earlier years, he was signed to IBK/KOCH with group "Detour", which had spawned the critically acclaimed single "Gucci, Louie, Whatever". After leaving the group, Hona traveled to Los Angeles, CA to pursue his dreams. In 2011, he released his debut mixtape "Follow Me" which received over 20,000 downloads and was on TheJourneyThroughLawSchool's "Top 50 Albums of 2011?.
